I have the original Fallout 3 and the additions Operation Anchorage and Pitt, she played a really fantastic game. The Pitt is a challenge, as we have to start without weapons. Dark dirty place with some interesting people and of course a warlord. Anchorage on the other side is all out Snow White is not so exciting, but exciting. I enjoyed the pitt better.

Fallout 3 Game Add-On Pack: Operation Anchorage and The Pitt Overview
Requires Fallout 3 to play. The Pitt Description: The Pitt allows you to travel to the post-apocalyptic remains of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and become embroiled in a conflict between slaves and their Raider masters. Explore a sprawling settlement ravaged by time, neglect, nuclear radiation, and moral degradation. The Pitt is filled with morally grey choices, shady NPCs, new enemies, new weapons, and much more. Story: The Pitt opens with a desperate radio message, and a meeting with its sender, an escaped slave named Wernher. Wernher claims that the leader of “The Pitt” has created a cure for mutations… and he needs you to go in and retrieve it. From there, the player can proceed in a number of ways, in true Fallout 3 style. Do you fight your way in, or disguise yourself as a slave? Ally with the slaves, or join their Raider overlords? The Pitt is very morally ambiguous – there’s no real right or wrong, just choices to be made, sides to be chosen, and a mystery that could send shockwaves throughout the entire Wasteland. Operation Anchorage Description: Operation: Anchorage. Enter a military simulation and fight in one of the greatest battles of the Fallout universe – the liberation of Anchorage, Alaska from its Chinese Communist invaders. Gain access to unique armor, weapons, and exotic gadgets while you build and command interactive Strike Teams to win the battle and defeat the Chinese base. Story: The Brotherhood Outcasts are trying to acquire advanced military technology, and the only way to open the vault containing these relics is by completing a tactical simulation only you can enter. In Operation: Anchorage you will re-live the epic Battle of Anchorage from Fallout lore. Find your way into the simulation, stripped of resources, and survive within the rules set up by the simulation’s creators. The Chinese red army is everywhere, so secure the surrounding mountain side and fight your way into the Chinese base.

Given: Fallout 3 is one of the best games out there – Keogh – Denver
Anchorage – must have armor is, the gameplay is linear, but with some history of backfill on the Chinese Army (four stars). The Pitt – Gameplay is awesome, are mutant freak, great addition (5 stars) … although my favorite was / is Hill Billy aka Iceland Point Lookout.
Okay . . . but a great disapointment and letdown from the standard of the Wasteland. – That Was Cool. – Phoenix, Arizona, USA
I bought this with great anticipation because of the hype and some of the better reviews.
The potential was there, but I think the temptation to make a quick buck by the publisher won.
The best part of Operation Anchorage was the breathtakingly beautiful mountains, you find yourself in the first. Simply wonderful. The first time I am in the mountains I was just staring at the clouds and heard the wind. Simply breathtaking.
The following fightHowever, it is quite average with a completely linear response style typical of the most common type place in the popular FPS. The people you come into contact with are not attractive or engaging, IMO, at all. They allegedly got a field promotion to lieutenant and in command of a troop, but you have only limited control over what they do than in the attack or not attack, and even give you this order only once. Once they start attacking, I found no way to stuff that they had no control. The AI for the tank was left completely. While the tank should be able to absolutely crush have yourTeam if they do not have anti-tank mines or support, could not even turn the corner of a wall to you. The laser beams they shot hardly hurt yet. What a laugh. The best part was that the Chinese Ninja, which were cumbersome and difficult to kill "because they wore the ninja armor, which has 15 sneak and invisibility shield +5 (I think it was called) if you are crouched, but only 85 if you sneak skill. They were almost completely invisible, when she arose. This armoris great fun, so make sure to find loot the Outcast basis. You can use it anywhere without sneak the enemies / monsters you see do not get up (or you can see) and do a surprise attack with a melee weapon. If you have selected the right skills, you will receive a one-hit-kill attack creep in every time and most normal enemies. The best thing is that you sneak into the enemy and listen to what they say, that's a lot of fun, especially in Point Lookout. The prey Gauss Rifle safe(I was somewhere and never get it back in the right Wasteland, so I never use it in the desert and I'm not sure if you can yourself.) I really did not find the "Super" arms Ya Got to say that dominate statistically compared to the Tesla armor. It was good, but not dominate IMO. I like to use to sneak a lot, and it is too loud, I loved the Ninja armor. I give this part of DLC and I do not like a 2.5 stars. The Pitt was nowmuch, much better. Very very moody. It was a great potential. But once again, I think the publishers are capitalizing on the popularity of FO3 to get some money to do well, they came to make money. But it could be a whole game spin-off to be at some point, and I hope they will. If you like melee, you'll love the car axis, a special weapon, you will receive custom-made by one of the friendly characters. Start this baby and just walk forward by a wave of blood directly into your enemies. They areparalyzed by the attack, so they do not beat you can sit back and straps are cut in a huge spray of blood. Although I never tried it, it would be great to use with the Ninja suit ya can get in OA The quests are very simplistic but ya get satisfactory. How could it not be satisfactory, a part of the killing of hundreds hated Raiders and the Raider ultimate boss. (Spoiler) In the end ya get the Raider bosses wife to steal the child (after you kill them both) and give it a lovingAdopted mother of one of the slaves. Then let loose monsters (I forget the name) in Uptown Pitt to eradicate the remaining Raiders. Also IMO, the Raider "boss" the best armor in the game. If you can stand the stench of wearing it (figuratively speaking) It's great defense. Well, if you are in Fallout3, I suggest you get the DLC at the same time, get the complete Fallout3 DVD, and as soon as possible (perhaps to the point level 15) will play on The Pittthe car to get Axe, use the OA Ninja Armor and Point Lookout FO3 to get to the fertilizer Shovel before completing the main quest. That way you can get the ninja armor (+15 sneak, +5 invisibility shield when squatting), and use your favorite weapon like manure shovel, ax, auto, kebab, or power to enemies fist in the face of Slam squatting for a deadly surprise attack and likely critical hit. Make sure Ramp up your attack power, and surprise attack skills and abilities of eachYou get the chance, and you have a super ninja surprise attack killing machine. Very very sweet. My main complaint is the uninspired play of the OA, IMO, and the brief, but large game in Pitt. Finally, I must say, as I do in my post the other DLC from Point Lookout, and Broken Steel, the problem with the visible area of solid objects is not matching the actual solid surface of the object in this DLC. For example, while ya can see and the target around an object, can not yato shoot in order to close the object, because an invisible edge extends past the foreign body and one block shots. This is not the case in many other games I like to play STALKER where ya up, the customs of the pixels next to each item and shoot without hitting them. Does not work with the Steam version! – Rachel Sze – Lasted Update : Jun 01, 2010 09:30:38
While Fallout 3 is large, buyers beware! This does not work with the Steam digital download version of the game. I had to return to her. The only way to buy add-ons for the Steam version is, by Live.
