I rarely use my DSi (now my DSi XL) camera. I have a digital camera, which I like better. I think the DSi camera was actually placed there only for children (even with the commercials showing neato Adults or older teens) because they are less likely to have a good quality digital camera. If I say I am children of 5-10 year old audience – most children older than mine, that (some younger) have their own phone to snap pics. So when I saw this book, I had to pick it up – I thought it would be a good way to useI never use the thing on my DSi. Ehrlich said at this point I expected way more software that takes advantage of the DSi features.
Photo Showdown is first and foremost a fighting game. It has RPG elements. You are set on an island and have an objective (standard video game FARE) and it is a girl with you. You have to use the camera to take pictures, well, everything is then placed in the capsule and a monster comes from the colors in the picture you took to be created. It is a simple conceptreally. In theory, each color variant lead to another monster. It's really fun to watch the spawn monsters. Since this small canister thing to do have it, I have not wanted to see a buy (or waste the money) unless the same colors the exact same monster spawn. I am a hoarder in any video game – a collector – and I like the waste of resources.
The battles are turn based and fun. You can choose a skill and then fight. You have to organize your deck(Group of monsters), how to – such as adding or deleting on the basis of the unique monsters, combat power and strength. As you level up, it really only allows you a higher level of control monster. At this point I can no evidence that it increases capacity and so on. Each monster has a higher cost and lower to = degree of control. What a monster with a cost of 3 means that if you should be 3 or higher, you will be able to control them. You can download items such as to buy. The tutorials arebe quite good for the game and the manual is a help.
I'm not finished with the game, but so far not lost interest. As far as his story only your old same old. It feels almost like Pokemon, where you gather a group of monsters and then fight with them. There is no blood and the creatures seem to go unconscious (see why it reminds me of Pokemon?), So this would be for any age child with a fine DSi.
The graphics are ok, the sound is ok It is theConcept that this game is its light. Another really good thing is, you could create with this game and come back to it later. As it is, above all struggles are not a ton of story you keep fresh to have.
I'm awarding five stars. So I would the game itself than about 4 but I have a 5-star because of the fact that this is the DSi camera uses a new and unique way. I think, to recognize its importance to game developers and companies that we would all like new ideas and unqiuein our games!
