This game is for those who remember the classic Sierra titles, back when it ordered only a few production companies, and visit, you had your products from a catalog in paper form or Electronics Boutique!
Larry was one of the first games that I encountered when I got my first computer at age 9 (okay, maybe not the most appropriate game for a 9 year old, but it was fun!). It was a copy of my father "borrowed" from a friend at work (sorry, that about Al, but I have bought 4 or 5 copiesSince then the game!).
Like many Sierra fans, I was depressed when I saw Sierra by several acquisitions, which led to a hemorrhaging of experienced developers Sierra and production of cookie-cutter games to go. Over the years, I stopped at my old Sierra disks and played them straight up until they no longer support Windows does not (and my good old 486 with the 5 1 / 4 "drive could finally gave out). DOS emulator has an okay job at the start of the games, but they were mostlyunplayable. After Vivendi rereleasing started the games with DOSBox, I started picking these classic games again. You have a great job of packaging these games in a playable format for XP and Vista (only did you make sure you play it in XP compatibility mode).

How to Fix if Windows Launcher Will Not Start Games – The Wamp – IL
Leisure Suit Larry Collection
I tried to install this library in two computers with Windows XP Service Pack 3 The Windows start was not possible to start the games. Even if I tried to start DOSBox 0.63 by itself, the DOS window would only flashed on the gravel but not stay started. So, I implemented the following update:

28th March 2010 update of mine:
DOSBox 0.63, it was not possible from (6) LSL programs when using the "Sierra Launcher"
and alsoDOSBox 0.63 does not yet begin. The DOS window only
Flash on the screen.
Fix: I downloaded DOSBox 0.73 (latest version) installed and in "C: \ DOSBox". Then
I uninstalled DOSBox 0.63, which was in the "C: \ Program Files \ Sierra \ Leisure Suit Larry Collection (TM)"
Folder and inserted the new "DOSBox-0, 73" folder to the Leisure Suit Larry Collection (TM) folder. To
"Sierra Launcher" work "DOSBox-0, 73" folder was renamed to"DOSBox-0.63".
Note: The folder has a program lsl6 sierraw.exe program file that runs on Windows in addition to the sierra.exe

These are the original games completely with the lowest possible resolution and frequent abuse. I had forgotten how annoying it is to get it by answering the age sensitive questions and digging something out of character was the manual (which is now 57 pages, which you must print). The trouble remains. It's a great view into the past and the jokes (offensive) are as funny as ever.

I liked the compilation games. But it does not have any slideshow last game in the series include "Leisure Suit Larry 7: Love for Sail". In my opinion the best in the series. Why should I redo it in a collection of Windows XP and not the whole series?
