Okay, I previously wrote a review of the lips. And while there is a karaoke simulation and clean it is on, there was much I did not like about it.
And after the game Number One hits, it makes even the original Lips look worse. Lips like Windows 3.11 and was Number One Hits was Windows XP. You really did a lot of improvement. Nothing drastic so that you can not see the game. But it only seems like a much more polished. seriously, every aspect has been improved Lips.
nowfor the song selection … wow. a big improvement. the original Lips was a mishmash, tried every single genre hit, so you do with a bunch of songs that you hate the end. This is much more accessible because it was drawn from more popular songs.
The graphics in the game are only as great as ever. they made it easier for even a little to match the lyrics and the pitch bar. it is not as easy as in the other Karaoke games read (Karaoke Revolution, Rock Band, the static scrollingGuitar Hero 5 and Band Hero), but it's better.
Lips and of course a vast online library to buy from. This is a karaoke game that you're not worried about being, like Karaoke Revolution in 2009 abandoned.
Now for the negatives …
Number One Hits feels a little bit more like a karaoke game, rather than just a karaoke simulation. but it does not work like a game like RB / GH / Karaoke Revolution feel.
while the wireless microphones and cool, still they are notsound as good as the wired microphones. It is therefore disappointing that the wired microphones (Rock Band, Guitar Hero and Karaoke Revolution) does not work in number one singles. but it has mic support Lips Classics wired wait so I can not.
the only other major gripe is that you have to do to the disc-swap, if you decide to sample a song from the original Lips. it is really annoying. They can not even keep the disk if you intend to play it in a different song from the original Lips. So they are# 1 play and then decide to do original lips. # eject a disc and insert the original CD. if you stop the song, you have to insert the # 1 Disc. and if you want to play another original song Lips, again have the # 1 disc and insert the original disc to eject. What a pain!
I understand that it is probably a form of protection against resale. What would someone think of the lips to the installation disk, they sell at the game store and buy Number One Hitsand access to all original Lips songs? but they could have developed a better system. Maybe have a one-disc-check time running the game? , and then from there, just need the new Lips disc?
That is, I do not always plan, the loading of the original Lips. I would prefer swapping the disc and play the old songs with Lips of the new user interface and improvements of the new # 1 Hits. It is almost as good as if you were used to Guitar Hero 2 with the guitar. andthen try the old songs in Guitar Hero Smash Hits with entirely new ways, Master Tracks, etc., as before a movie in VHS and then buying the HD version. a whole new experience.
I am a believer in the franchise-Lips for that disc # 1 Hits. I'm definitely picking up the Classics Lips CD. The series to be better. That is, there is still much room for improvement when they are ready to be renewed, the pitch bar and scrolling text. it still dependstoo much on the experience with the song.
I was hoping that would Karaoke Revolution by Konami in 2009 supported, but it seems they have given up that franchise. KR2009 actually think like a karaoke game (even if the graphics were poor lips), but without a future library support (no covers please prepared!), This is a dead dinosaur. The irony was that KR2009 and lips were published # 1 hits around the same time with a lot of the same songs. so now I have littlemay be reason to go back because I KR2009 the songs I like to play the # 1 Hits Disc.

so fun… – Dara Nesbitt – Buffalo, NY United States
I love Lips. If you do not have a great voice that you do not have to listen to singing and vice versa. It's just a great game. So fun!
The songs are awful. The disc swap is insane. – Fran –
In particular, the selection of songs is pathetic, and secondly, if you have more than one version of the lips, you have to exchange the discs to play your songs, although each DVD of the situation, every song that is annoying to see.
Wait for wired mic availability – Paul McNally – Amherst, NH United States
I picked this game up this morning and regretted it immediately. The song selection is varied (my kids know a lot more of them than I), the microphone is pretty useless on my system. There are a few seconds delay between the time that you sing in (or shake the MIC) and the time that the input registers with the system. I'm not sure if it needs based on 360 to encrypt decrypt / what is to come from the wireless microphone, but the end result is that you have to hear your voice coming outthe speaker or two seconds after the words leave your lips. For me, that you throw my rhythm for the rest of the song and makes the game worthless.
I have no problem with the Rock Band Microphone (cable) in one of the other games I was singing, so I suspect that the problem is either the wireless microphone or the actual game is Lips. Either way, unless Microsoft releases a patch that allows one of the wired microphones, this game is going to have to sit upon a shelf.
A number of people online have experienced the same problem. They have proposed a number of fixes, but none of them worked for me (change the digital output method for the 360 dashboard, rewiring the connection between the 360 and my TV, etc). As I said, I do not delay in any other game, so that leads me to believe that the problem themselves or Lips is the wireless microphone isolated.
My suggestion: If you are thinkingBuy this and you have a friend who has it on loan to them first. Be careful not the experience of the delay before you pick it up. It looks like a really good game, and I am sure we would not in non-stop from the delay problem.
