Nintendo DS Games – World Championship Poker ( Click image to see special price!! )
World Championship Poker for the Nintendo DS is one of the better casino style games. It is on my list of top Nintendo DS for its wide variety of game selection.
Terrific Poker and Non-Poker Game Selection
The best thing about Nintendo DS World Championship Poker is the variety of games. Many poker players think Texas Hold Em is the only legitimate form of the game. Maybe people who think just too much to seeTelevision.
It is almost impossible, the channel without a TV poker game. But if you think Texas Hold Em is the only game in town, then you are missing all the fun.
The games
My favorite poker games are Omaha Hi / Lo and 7 Card Stud Hi / Lo. So it was a surprise to learn that the Nintendo DS version of World Championship Poker games includes one. And even better, there are twelve games in all on this one cartridge. The games are:
* TexasHold Em
* Double-Flop
* Pineapple
* Omaha
* Omaha Hi / Lo
* 7 Card Stud
* 7 Card Stud Hi / Lo
* Baseball
* 5 Card Draw
* Deuces Wild
* Video Poker
* Black Jack
Playing the Game
The fun begins when you play career mode.
In career mode, go around the virtual casinos in search of a game. The top screen provides a 3D first-person view, where you are in the casino. At the same time the bottom screen shows a top view ofYour location.
The casino tables each have a different game. Here you will find a table you want to play, and then tap the table with the stylus to play.
Some tables have fast games that you make a quick buck and go, how can the video-poker-game win. More involved you want to play select commence a tournament table against computer opponents.
Their opponents
The computer opponents in this game are 3-D models. You see them while they play, and each has its ownName, face and body.
Their opponents are also animated and make certain movements and sounds every time they play a hand. This is fun at first, but annoying and repetitive, the longer you play. It also makes each hand longer than necessary. Fortunately, you can use the animations from among the options setting.
Thanks to the wireless networking function, you can play the Nintendo DS version of World Championship Poker with friends. Of course, this only works if your friendsare within range, and also have a Nintendo DS and the World Championship Poker game. Once connected we can all play the most games together. The only downside is you are not on your players in wireless mode name. So you have to remember which character is yours.
Overall rating: Five Poker Chips
I recommend this game for anyone who enjoys poker and portable gaming systems. You can your skills without sitting at the computer or waiting for a live practiceGame.
There is also a good way to distribute the time while stuck in the queue or in the waiting room. So if you are interested in poker gaming, portable, get a copy of World Championship Poker for the Nintendo DS.
