Nintendo DS vs Nintendo DSi ( Click image to see special price!! )
Last month, Nintendo released its third version of the DS handheld called the Nintendo DSi. I'm sure many people are trying to figure out whether they should be in their current handhelds and collection of the new DSi trade. Well, I'll choose you for the information itself, in the event it will be worth it.
First off, as you can from the images found circulating that the DS has many features in common with the original, including the doubleScreens, one of which is a touch screen and close the cover design. It contains everything that makes the DS microphone in a great console built like a Wi-Fi (including the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection Service) listening, and others. It's really just a basic improvement to the original design.
Where the new design differs in several simple enhancements like lighter and slimmer than the original, the increase in the size of the canvas, and the addition of two cameras. The two cameras, motion detection, one on the inside hinge, which is over the player and the other on the far outside for photographs, form an "eye" that the new name is coming. The cameras can only be VGA, but they also take a good picture. Nintendo also has an SD card slot on the right side and removed the power switch, a power has been replaced with button again. The DSi is only available in black now, but you can always have a skin for the consoleor they may be in different colors in the coming months as it release in Japan.
Although it may be a lack of specific DS games, there are still games that are designed to take advantage of the new cameras in the DSi for additional functionality. For example, WarioWare: Snapped! You can take on several mini-games with the front camera to control actions with your head and hands. This opens a new dimension of possibilities for new games.
Even if the DSi is nota significant change compared to Nintendo's handheld formula, it is still great in its own right. The cameras alone are worth picking it up for me. And the great thing about the Nintendo DS is that you can still play all the big old DS.
