Nintendo was the first time seen the system in 1985, as entertainment, they released the NES. The first handheld console, the Game Boy, released in 1989, were seen playing with the screen, which was prepared from 4 Shades of Grey. Probably the most memorable for the game Tetris, it has sold over 150 million units and is the most successful video game ever.

Next up was the Game Boy Pocket, was released in 1998 at the same time as Nintendo's' N64 console in. It was astreamlined upgrade to the original and came in a variety of colors. The game screen was still in gray.

Followed by the next Game Boy Advance (GBA) in 2001. This portable provides better graphics than its predecessor console and played on a larger screen. 10 of million were sold around the world.

2003, bought the Game Boy Advance SP. The design for this handheld was significantly different than previous models and could close close like a clam. The screen size was the same as theGBA, but it was lighter and smaller. Other features include a battery and a backlight for the screen.

The next console, the Nintendo DS, Japan, published in 2004 and the U.S. release followed in the 2005 Europa. This is really a step in technology from the last Game Boy. This has been the leading portable handheld of its time by a considerable margin, and features top-of technology. These included Wi-Fi, microphone and touch screen, and backwardCompatibility, which meant all the previous games in this model could be played.

Nintendo Game Boy Micro was officially the last name with the famous hand-held Game Boy and is the same as a GBA in a compact form. Released at the end of 2005 worldwide.

In early 2006 came the Nintendo DS Lite. This was an upgrade to the original DS and features brighter screens, and is both smaller and lighter. Another popular handheld.

The latest to be portable console gaming unleashedGiant Nintendo is the Nintendo DS. Japan had the first sight in November 2008 while waiting for the rest of us still waiting for release in April 2009. This new console is packed and the latest technology and features to go almost up to a certain degree of success with gaming fans. The DSi has 2 touch screens, built in camera 2 (1 x 3 megapixels and 1 x 0.3 Mega pixels), WiFi, SD card slot, picture, music and video capabilities. Games can be downloaded online as well as new softwareUpdates.
