Before I start, I feel I have ownership, so that everyone knows that I'm a Playstation 3, but I assure you all that I do not so much bias, as most owners of the console is not on their systems. My roommate has an Xbox and I spent a lot of time playing Halo 3 and Gears of War with him, I have a lot of respect for the console.

I bought a PS3 because I had been waiting for ever since I had my PS2. I was inclined to remain loyal to Sony mainly becausethey had done so well with their existing systems and they had games, blew away the Nintendo 64, the system I had in elementary school (bad decision).

As a PS3, XBOX 360 came out already in the homes of millions of people and kept the $ 600 price tag on the expensive PS3 gamers at bay for a while, who they could keep themselves busy with a PSP hoped until the price went down. I waited until a year after it came out to buy one and then I got used to attend to my360th with the Xbox video game needs

An important difference between the two systems is the technical specification. PS3 fans can boast that the system has superior technology and thus better graphics and more space on the Blu-ray discs. Xbox 360 can argue that their library has more popular games like Halo series and Gears of War.

From what I've seen personally, it does not seem to be a big difference in graphics between the two systems, my friend and I each got copies of Call of Duty4 and Grand Theft Auto 4 for our respective systems and I can not honestly say it was to be a difference between my PS3 and XBOX 360. This can only be one of my theories, but when games are for both systems, the limits of the graphics can only go so far as the Xbox 360 handle, while the PS3 could go much further, but then again, there is only one theory.

After the discontinuation of HD DVD, I thought that was pretty much done for XBOX 360, because I thought that if people had the opportunity to purchase aGaming system and DVD player in one (a PS3), they would, if it does not appear on the Xbox 360 sales, much excited.

The majority of people, as I were floored when at E3 that Final Fantasy XIII has been revealed on the next Xbox, I must say I am very satisfied with Microsoft's strategy of buying back the rights for the games exclusively for the PS3 and attitude impressed Games for Xbox from the PS3 library.

Despite the aggressive plan by Microsoft to the rights of the games again exclusively for youthe PS3, I will predict that Sony to do with the upper hand in the console wars for a few reasons: we have not yet begun, the possibilities of the PS3 hardware is able to see. The Blu-ray disc can hold much for the memory than the 360 DVD's. Also PS3 and Xbox Live online for free is about $ 50 per year.

So ultimately, consoles my advice to the person who would buy one of these fine to invest in a PS3, because it probably is a longer shelf life than the 360,But if you find an extra 360 for cheap, get it would not be a bad idea, either.
