Project Powder Game Review and Tips – A Free Racing MMORPG ( Click image to see special price!! )
Game Introduction
Before I played this game, I was thinking that it was a baking game or something around those lines. The word “powder” makes me think of Cooking Mama. I was surprised to see myself playing a racing game!
Project Powder is a free MMORPG (Massive Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game) online game with some fancy snowboarding graphics. Although this is a free-to-play game, I was amazed at the details, graphics, colors, and even the special effects this game possess. Not only these, you could perform amazing tricks that would leave those watching behind your back speechless.
Game Modes
The game can be played with a maximum of 8 players per race. It has 3 game modes – Race, Coin and Battle Mode.
Racing focuses on who finishes first. Of course doing tricks could help you gain more experience and points in this mode.
Coin mode is like playing “Sonic the Hedgehog”. It is all about speed and accuracy, and the main objective is to get as many coins as possible. Whoever gets the most coins wins.
Battle Mode is for those racers that like a twist. You can use items in this mode. You could throw the items around your fellow racers to stop them from catching up you. These features make this game unique. The game is really easy to play. I doubt if there is anyone who find this game complicated.
Racing is Challenging
The maps are very challenging and very unique, ranging from simple terrain to complicated ones. When I say complicated it is really “complicated”. A lot of obstacles make the race track difficult, not to mention moving objects like penguins and machines. They will try to hinder you from moving forward. Mind you, the penguins are big in this game. Of course, a racing game without obstacles is boring. I hate those giant sculptures found on one of the maps.
Downside of the Game
The only downside probably is the lack of character options. You could only choose 1 out of 3 characters – two guys and one girl. But that is just a minor thing when compared to the enjoyment that you would find in playing one of the best racing MMORPG’s available today.
I am not really a racing game fanatic. But, I admit that playing Project Powder has changed my views completely. If you haven’t played any racing game before, this game is a good place to start.
