Review: Samurai Jack – Code of the Samurai ( Click image to see special price!! )
Fans of Genndy Tartakovsky's "Samurai Jack", the last year on the Cartoon Network wrapped, enjoy the quirky stories and stunning visuals, also the martial arts sequences. Of course, it was only a matter of time before the online gaming industry turned the time-adventure trips Samurai's into video games.
I have not tried one of the games for your game console, my efforts are limited systems, rather than on their own website Cartoon Network. His gamesSection features six games based on "Samurai Jack", including "The Way of the Warrior", in which the young samurai trains through several simulations for his later discussion of the shape-shifting evil sorcerer Aku (deliciously actor spoke of Veteran Mako in the series and console games).
The other games invariably feature Jack battling Aku minions – robots, beetle insects and the like. Two of the games feature a final showdown with Aku.
"Code ofthe Samurai "was a tie-in with a Samurai Jack marathon, so if you have access to the game of the interface that asks:" Enter Code or games. "I advise pushing Play since the original marathon was two years ago.
Once in the game, you have to fight three treacherous levels before you even get Aku.
The first level offers crumbling strips, motorized spikes, machine-gun fire as you ride rock lifts mountains, and of course the inevitable delay to evil. Attack Tip: When driving rock out, duck and jump to avoid machine gun fire. Take the opportunity when the second elevator rises or rises close to the lift you need to, otherwise avoid the shots until the elevator comes back into range. The level features two lift challenges, all waiting with computer attacker at the top of the cliff.
The creatures at all three levels are adversaries that fans of "Samurai Jack" will recognize: zombie warriorsTerminator-style robot that they have seen baskets on their heads, and Aku's henchmen, which in turn attack in steam when they are.
Tip: Try made, whenever possible, the goals with a good quick thrust of Jack's katana. The game says other weapons available to Jack, but for some reason you only see him use his katana. Drive slowly and time your attacks so that you do not hit the targets first.
Jack gets five "lives", and you can see the red meter slowly shrink as it isbombarded with digital chaos. Try to at least the fourth "life" when the difficulty of keeping the second level. After each level of "life" you are right now is topped in clear (Jack has been drinking his trademark green tea.) When you get to the third level, try to at least three "lives", although you can get away with two. You need at least two, for a chance in the final battle with Aku have.
At the end of the first two levels that you struggle with a hugeOpponent is stronger than the others: a skeleton warrior on the first, a basket-head warrior on the second. The good news is you can watch its "life" meter and track your progress to defeat.
The second level is filled with gears running amuck to mow you down, blow-wing with you, and all three levels you run the risk of falling in slime or sharp points that you lose a life. Tip: Do you plan your jumps to avoid the transmission, but not too nervous, or fall inthe mucus.
The third level has spikes, moving platforms and even bigger jumps, if that's possible. Tip: The vapor demons can be anywhere and are more than the opponents poweerful in the first two levels. But the training is only the practice, turn your muscles for the battle with Aku.
The final stage features bars that sink into lava – you have to jump fast before you fall on the computerized Aku is quite impressive, and just as in the series, flies several timesJack can deliver before the final blow. But brave, be steadfast, be victorious, and you, gamer, will defeat the evil scourge! The conclusion that the game is very satisfying and the anticipated emotional payoff.
