Rock Band is the latest entry in the genre of music / rhythm games and the creative crew at Harmonix has gone a way beyond this. Its developers wanted us to more than just a video game. They wanted to step things up to a whole new level, and more than succeeded with Rock Band.

This innovative game allows you to even play any instruments on theor "jam" with up to three other band members. " Rock Band brings a whole new dimension to the world of gaming, to live by the player to slow, perform solos on their own, and finally as a band. Forget karaoke. it's time to Rock! Each musical part, including a lead guitar, bass guitar, drums and singer, has several levels. Each member has to improve its performance on a level before they can work to move to the next.

Harmonix is also inthe process of setting up an international online community where you play new members in your band or simply meet and compare performance strategies. There is also a new song tracks available each week so that you can continue to add your band library!
