Despite be poorly constructed, this game is still fun for what it is.

There are huge problems, all while there. The interface is slow, clumsy, monotonous, and a terrible effort to interact with them. The AI is brain dead, making the game much, much too simple. There are not enough event sequences for each nation, and those that exist are too short. To the "True Ending" for each nation, it seems as if it (I get I'm not sure if this applies to every nation) need to avoidany alliances or vassal nations at all for the entire game. You see, sometimes during the fight, you will get a cut scene of the two generals to talk to each other. If you are allied with the nation, has a general, for which you have the cut-scene, it is impossible to trigger it. If you do not trigger any scene, you do not receive the nation's true ending. What this means is that games go on a long, long time to go, how to wipe out the entire map, even without allies, and asAs far as I know, there is no way to break a contract if you convince yourself, in which it first to a vassal nation and hope that they rebel before the game is over (if it break a possibility, contracts, I would love for someone to say, me). A large part of the game is just too simple or not working, or is so time consuming as to be annoying.

Commented on the ease of the game is the main problem that it is almost impossible to run out of money. Once you buy a product, for lessthan half of what it's worth, as a rule, then they sell them for more than twice it's worth, you will be so much money that you have reached the max stats of all your cities with plenty left over. Money will be useless very early on. This brings me to actually use your money, which primarily used to strengthen the economy of the cities or to increase the defense of their city: You can only those actions of a general at a time. This is a killer. You may have twenty generals, all ofHave what they must do, and they do, you will only need to attend to them individually and select a task. It is impossible for common tasks, such as to give less than five generals working for defense. work at five generals on a city, the defense, you have to go down the list of generals and choose what you want them and where to do it: Select the task to select the general, choose the city, click the Repeat with the confirmations and. In general you will be with all of your generals allturn (there is no reason to leave them idle), so as you can imagine this is monotonous.

The combat mechanics are simply offensive and take no time to master, to find out especially if you know that some generals are excellent better than others and can almost win by itself against multiple opponents, for example, a general who easily accessible , Gabella, has an ability that animates * all * their troops in their unit, and there is a level one capability means you can use italmost every time. If you do nothing but spam to this ability, it is completely impossible Gabella device will be destroyed. Or Sanae, a level two skill named "Spirit, Lord," which is probably the most devastating attack powerful spells in the game, wiping out half of your enemy's troops in one piece. Most of the skills that have the generals are not even worth casting, but there are some who can win the battles and are still low-level. Greater Defense and Attaaack! are potentially one level ortwo abilities, depends on the general, who has them, and they give your entire army game-winning buffs.

Some game mechanics are not at all explained, and I never get over something on the Internet that explains exactly everything. As far as I know, no one really knows what some statistics for themselves. One is of course important, intelligence, how well one can determine a position of general administrative control. Other than that, though, the others are a mystery to me.

Yes, I admit it. The game is addictive for a simple reason: the conquest of other peoples and reap the spoils from conquered nations is worthwhile. Capturing generals and to compel them to serve you, or a choice to run it is, rewarding. The conquest of the world is rewarding. With espionage, such as cause enemy generals to you as a serious defectCripple the defense of an otherwise powerful nation, invading what was once a seemingly unbeatable nation, is very satisfactory. The event sequences, although brief, are pretty cool, and art, of which there is a lot, pretty.

That's really all there is. I play the game consistently, because it is a strong sense of reward when you have a time consuming task. In the all-important "sense of progress" factor, this game definitely has it. I digGames that remind me of the story of the Three Kingdoms series, and this is one of them.

be Just as for you, if you've played Romance of the Three Kingdoms, or if you simply find the idea of this game is cool, it could still worth a purchase if you think you can, the many large problems to stand. You may find it strange as addicted as I am. Perhaps feeling the same sense of satisfaction each time you conquer most powerful nation, then lead all of hisTrailers that you gave so much trouble (a kind of sick, I know, but hey). Just do not say I did not warn you.

EDIT: Corrections

I have a few new things since I wrote this review found. First, I discovered that it is not necessary to get all the general to general scenes to trigger a nation "true ending". The truth seems to be that you must conquer all nations without a win with a victory by the Allies. If only every defeat by force, then you will have success (Ican be considered not confirm that this is the same for all nations, but it seems most of them, anyway).

Secondly, I discovered that * you * can attack you with allied nations. You * not * attack nations that vassal nations. There is no reason to ever other nation a vassal nation. You should never accept transfers from other nations, try a different nation always a vassal nation, or try to persuade the "" command at the siege phase of the struggle to convince. You can *accept all alliances, given that you can always just break by attacking it as any enemy nation. It's actually a good thing, always give accept alliances, because they sometimes some excellent points if you accept, and you can break the contract at any time.

Thirdly, I discovered that lose their force abilities, if you used several times during a fight. For example, if you use "hand of Paradise" to heal all your troops, it will heal all of themabsolutely unique. If you use the skill a second time, it will be only about half as strong. This also applies to Gabella skills.

One last thing to say would I like is that you can seriously speed up the process of conquering every nation through the proper use of espionage. Here is what you can do: Hold for about 15 generals at a time to give you room for new generals. If Foreign Affairs is month to convince as many enemy generals as possible to a nation you defect. Youmeet two very important things to do with this. If you move to a general commands the troops, the enemy loses all the troops in that unit. Secondly, if you can persuade all the generals leading the nation EXCEPT, it will be impossible for the enemy to form an adequate defense, so you have little or no resistance during the war months. Even if the enemy nation's defenses and troop numbers are to be carried out without exhausted generals to command the troops, none of them can be used. Even the strongestPeople can easily be defeated by this tactic. It usually takes three months siege of a nation in this way, when their defenses are wall at maximum value.

That's it for corrections, for the time being.

this game really sucks – Hoo Yeon Lee – Ithaca, NY USA
this is the worst I've ever played in my entire life.

First, it is too easy to win * *, in other countries – it is not a challenge. while you trade, you can build pretty much "infinitely more" money, because the trading system determines the "price" (or the ratio between two commodities) at random. Secondly, from beginning to end, there are no special events or the like so that you end up repeating the same task over and over – iI should not complain if there was something a little different that I did. I have literally the same thing to make each one.

Ridiculously Simple/Slow Paced/Boring – T. Elder –
I am not one who likes strategy games am, I may fail, almost without, because something will shine through, or else to make the game worth playing. So I do not understand what the reviewer, it was brilliant and speaks 8s 9s of 10, but he has either never played other games, or is literally a zombie and will sit there for 90 + hours of play by the same repetitive spirit numbing game 3x … I feel for people who read his posts and think that it is perhaps only one badlyDifferences from his perspective to me. The meat of the problems …

This game is very boring and simple. It is basically a continuous, hour after hour of hitting the Next button and try to feel like you have an influence on the result. The problem is, each round is as indicated in other reviews, a limited number of specific actions. Some actions are Nikon is a restriced that the things you can do are pointless / time-consuming and you're better off justgo to the next month, as for example: 8 gold looting of your neighbors is a rather pointless process if you already 1000th More ironic is that since you have several generals, you need all these things for any general to do as looting convince tiny amounts of gold, or try to other nations from generals to join you one by one per general, get more generals that to accept any real purpose small non-game commands give effect again on your nexton.

So, what to say about the fight you? Perhaps making up for it. I would say, not really. He is lazy and poorly made. The delay between when you use the stylus (the only control method), until when you move the device that is much too long to make a difference in the battle. ending the attempt to get your units to engage in combat with the pen often leaves her short of the fight just sit out of reach, while other units get pummeled with groups of enemy units. I've found that Imy units on paths, which they in the general direction that they need to be set then hit select (auto-battle), so that they move on their own (I suppose if you want to feel like a Civil War general or Location be related to Tolstoy's description of Napoleon in War and Peace, to give orders, which never happen because of delays and the general inefficiency of the type with runners Command, the situation is changed completely on the area of delay, then by pinChecks are your ticket). The special moves, which are in the struggle to build, nothing to inspire them to help in the fight, but they are cumbersome to use and have almost no significant animations.

Finally, the translation is poor and the character of the dialogue is very repetitive. If your generals fail, they usually say something badly translated, that comes out sounding even after reading one robot. After the game for 30 minutes, let alone 30 hours, and hear the 1000thTime, you will be on the same banal comments in real life to colleagues and friends.

Once you conquer a neighboring city or two, start your power to be so overwhelming, especially against the sorry excuse for computer-ai that you many hours of comp stomping of you. But you can not pick up because the pace to fight, until three generals with 400 soldiers for peace (a feat not achieved easily in the first drafts of the game limited. And as for the attack makes youcan only attack if it means some push 'a', as fast as you can by more monotonous "do-choose-your-own-adventure-as-you-have-no-actual options" wait until you a range of combat turn again.

So to sum it up there:

Wow, I did not know that these games uncut and did not come with so little depth. Apart from the mediocre graphics, this game could easily have an 8-bit Nintendo era failure, not to the likes of even the sub-par compare games havethat 80s era, let alone strategy games for the 16-bit consoles like Ogre Battle or romance of the 3 Kingdoms (only in the same category as Spectral Fail Genesis, because it video games, with the term used loosely for SFG .

Spectral Force Genesis – Christopher Stearns –
I'm with you on stage. This game seems interesting when you start. But it gets boring. The biggest problem, as they see it, is game balance. Once you start your power to conquer nations is growing exponentially, and the game loses all semblance of difficulty. That would be nice if the achievement of the invincible stage, you were meant just before the end, but it does not work. To play a few more hours tireless, repetitive and very un-challenging game before you win.

Other problemsinclude vague references, and an inefficient menu system. The game is completely menu driven. The combat is menu driven. So bad menus really hurts this game.

I give this game 2 stars, but only so I can go down, I should respond to something worse.
