Let me first say I start this movie love you! My fiance and I have enjoyed it many times, and can not wait for our little boy to see if he is old enough. If you do not want to read the detailed review below, I will try to give you a quick overview.
This is truly a quality video game. This game, fun challenges, family friendly, and surprisingly good replayability. I do not care whether you are 7 years old, 60, or somewhere in between I'm sure you will enjoy this game.
The history of the game is quite simple, virtually non-existent. If you know the movie, do not expect to have a nice smooth action while playing this game. All of the character and place names are identical, so you should at least have that going for you.
Graphics (10.08):
Graphically the game looks decent. Random elements and symbols in the game look at the bright, beautiful deep blue water. The frame rate is good enough that there is no appreciableBlurring or choppy scene or movement. Water and dry land in the area are mixed very well. This is definitely not first-rate graphics, but they are simple, but clean and well made. Overall, enjoyable for the players and onlookers.
Sound (10:07):
The game uses the actual actors from the animated film. It's a cool breeze, but you only get to hear them in short clips and far between.
The music is very suitable for surfing genre, I would classify as indie rock.
Control (10/10):
Control within the game is very simple. It's like a really simplified version of Tony Hawk Pro Skater. They move with the left analog stick. L-Trigger is used to slide the top of a wave. A simple trick is done with the A button tricks are done before withthe B button. Y button activates "Stoke Mode", which is a few special tricks not for a short period of time. X allows freestyle movement with the right analog stick. That's it. Just pick up and easy to master.
Gameplay (10/10):
This is what really hooked on the game. Do not want stunning graphics and sound. Just plain and simple fun gameplay. It is a good selection of locations to visit, each with its own separate duties. You can replay / retry each of as manyTimes as you want.
There are some mini-games that are fun, but short. The game took me just a few days. I think an experienced player but not so that your child will be finished this in one day.
Final Thoughts:
All said and done I have to admit, I enjoyed playing this game. It's pretty simple and do not offer a lot, but as a kid's game, it is very gratifying. I'm not even a child, and I was addicted to it for days. Even more than some hook upBudget, type game of the year. Kids will love it and parents have it pleasure with their children (or on their own!). If the low values are a few ways to turn it off, please ignore it. I gave them a low score, because that's how I feel. The most important thing after all, the gameplay (10/10).
I recommend you to buy this game now!

I bought this for my 7-year-old and he loves it … as well as my 4-year-old. You can use a few of the characters from the movie Surf's Up and they can not really fail when browsing.
The premise is good. The most important controls are intuitive. However, a surfing trick question is one press of the button, which is very unfortunate, as surfing tricks with controller moves could be emulated on the Wii.
We have not gone on many levels yet. The novelty has for them and bear theScale as they have not lured back.
If you live near a beach, used the money on a board .. or boogie board and go learn more about real waves instead .. but if you have the extra cash, this can keep a child excited about the sea.
Oh .. That reminds me … Endless Ocean for Wii is a must for any adult or child that wants to explore the ocean!
