This game reminded me a large part of the Ace Combat series. You really need a flight stick or analog controller to play. It was a bit annoying that in the standard flight mode, you can make the plane stall or drag really complex maneuvers. To do this, you press a button to shut down systems have to get you in a strange third Person side view of the aircraft (not really good for dog fighting).

There is a nice variety of aircraft and weapons packages.Instead of customizing every little thing about your aircraft, select the layer, and then select a set of three weapons. Instead of buying aircraft / hardware, you make it on through experience points and leveling.

The story is fairly typical, and the campaign mode is relatively short. The graphics are about the same level of the latter Ace Combats for second PS The air battles are nice and the landscape, based on current satellite mapping is pretty cool. I have yet to try the onlineCampaign co-op mode or against dog fighting.

All in all a very fun and solid game for your PC at a very reasonable price. I think mine was $ 4.95 plus shipping via a connected retailer Amazon. I would recommend the Thrustmaster T-Flight Joystick / gas package through Amazon. It is only $[...] with free shipping and feels really good. It made the game that much more fun.

Strictly an arcade game! – Nom De Plume – West Coast Junkie
This is not strictly an arcade game. You can not land or take-off, it seems two speeds, fast and quickly be marginal. You can not slow down and all levels seem to be the same general dynamics, some differences, but very small.

Some aircraft speeds inaccurate. The A-10 can hit 800 miles per hour. Even an afterburner starts, but I do not think it has an afterburner. Some of the planes can go over 1,000 miles an hour, but it does not look like that when you drop on tree top level as. More like thisHelicopter speed. Very disappointing.

Target marker appears on the HUD and then through your cockpit. Not very realistic. Bombs explode on the ground target before you pass over them even, in fact, you can see them in front of your cockpit. I guess they wanted you to see what you take for fun.

Exterior views of the very limited level. Only the top, bottom, front and rear and not in Betweens! Not very cool. This high-speed maneuvers G no power outages or redoubt. Appear Like I said only an arcade game.

Sometimes I think, even A-10 Cuba was seen with all the cartoon a lot more fun. You could bomb things that nothing moves with your audience, and it was all kinds of outside saw what happened and see the maneuvers of the plane, shown in different positions. Really cool. You could see off the enemy and it was even on their airfields, roads (country and actually drive around your aircraft) or aircraft to shoot while still on theGround.

For the game, you need to play an enormous quantity of the same scenarios (of which there are many) to obtain at different levels. After all layers is complete, they must once again play to get to higher levels with different or "unlocked" weapons and aircraft. I still have not unlocked at many levels.

For a more realistic fighter SIM Flanker 2.0 was more "pilot" realistic and almost like the A-10 Cuba. It's really cool, take Take Off (or country) and the planequick "real" outside view it off or landing. Schade HAWX chose the path of the children an arcade game. Otherwise it would be "it".

PRO: realistic bomb and fire effects. Very beautiful landscape, the best I've seen. Very good pictures and very realistic, "cloud" seen, and a large asortment of aircraft, good sound effects.

CONS: only one arcade game will target markers in the cockpit, very limited view from the outside in and outside the cockpit, speed is not realistic,no way to land or takeoff, or no interaction term, only the cockpit instruments must be in combat zone or the game will be finished, joystick controls too picky with the recommended joystick.

Flight Stick makes it great – Sean D. Green –
Ace Combat 6 has me back in Flight Games. The possibility that Ace Combat 6 flight controllers use to make this game awsome. The graphics are great, to do the mission briefings tend to get long from time to time, but they never make the game unbearable. I recommend getting this game. Can not wait to see what has to offer 2 to HAWX.

Lots of replay-ability – BigGameHunter88 –
This game is a very good choice for anyone who loves flying and enjoys games like this look for some moves. For me personally this game has quite a lot of replay value! And most of the time I'm in the first and third person shooters.
