How is it that video games have made it from your children to the living room?
Gone are the days when video games were just a child's toy. Growing up in the 80's, I remember spending countless hours locked myself in my room, the classic Nintendo play. Or even before, that my older brothers kick me out of her room while she played tennis and other video game.
No longer are video gaming systems as a toy or activity. We have 3 gaming systemsin our home and the children in the house only 2 and 3 years old. I'm still the boy that played hours and Nintendo Super NES for, only now I do not want to have to go to space to think. With games for the Wii like Wii Sports and Wii Fit, my wife loves to play it.
Now that gaming systems have taken over the living room where you took them? We did not want our Wii sitting on the floor, as my games at that time. I will not sit on the fireplace mantle with dangling cordsso the children can grab it. Our TV is only over our fireplace wall and we have barely enough length to reach for our 15 foot HDMI cable to the TV through the wall, but it looks very clean.
After buying our Wii, we were only provided with the problem of determining where to put it. We came up with the idea behind our TV wall mounting it so that we do not run to open the wall to get more cable. After hours of searching online, go to the retailers, even those of home improvement,we could not find anything that came close, so we decided to make our own. We work with professionals in the plastics industry is one and came with the Wii wall. Now we get to play our games on the big screen and keep still in our clean look when the Wii was not even there.
